Legend has it that the magical night sky colours of the Aurora Borealis, were trapped inside the rocks of Labrador in the Northern Hemisphere. 

A warrior is said to have tried to free the lights with his spear, but the strength of the rocks was so strong, that this beautiful spectrum of light was crystallised inside them forever more. Today we call these night sky colours 'The Northern Lights'.
